Recipe of the Month

Hot Artichoke Dip

-1 14 oz can or jar of artichoke hearts- cut in pieces

-1/2 cup mayonnaise tiny can green chilis (3 or 5 oz)

-½ cup shredded parmesan

-Mix all ingredients together and put into baking dish.

-Preheat oven to 425.

-Bake about 30 minutes or until slightly golden on top.

You can eat this warm or cold. It is so easy to make, and it’s a big hit at parties!

Bishi and Elektra’s Blanket Statement

"Well I (Bishi) wasn’t feeling well last week. I didn’t feel like eating a lot of food, and there were bathroom issues I won’t go into. I authorized Elektra to eat the treats I was not able to eat. She felt a little guilty at first (maybe chihuahuas always look guilty), but she persevered and helped out with that.

Having an upset tummy didn’t really affect the rest of my schedule though. I rarely check in to see how I am feeling before I participate in the day. There is so much to smell and great adventures to share with my family. I don’t want to miss any of that just for a grumbly tummy or a crooked gait or legs that don’t move as fast as I want them to. I launch myself through the day! I love my family with 100% love! I run as fast as I can! I cannot be denied!!!!

Then I also take lots of dreamy naps. You may have noticed me snoring softly in class. (This is my secret to success).

You can try it and feel success, too!"

See you all in class.

Namaste

Jean
